These terms apply to the use of Log Spend Auditor, a software product, and of this website.

The software

• The software is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.
• Log Spend Auditor is an independent product. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Splunk Inc. Splunk is a trademark of Splunk Inc.

No guarantee of savings; recommendations only

• We do not guarantee any cost savings. Figures shown by the software are estimates based on the metadata it can observe.
• Findings are candidates and recommendations for review. They are not instructions to delete data.
• You remain responsible for your operational, security and compliance decisions, including whether to change, reduce or retain any data source.

Licensing and purchases

• Community is free and does not require a paid license.
• Pro features require a paid license. Under the current offer, the Pro license is a one-time purchase for 1 active installation and does not expire.
• Purchases are processed through Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record, and Lemon Squeezy's own terms apply to purchases. License activation and validation are also handled through Lemon Squeezy.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from the use of the software or this website.
